Steel Plantech Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. is located up on the 6th floor of Block-B in the Eco-Space Business Park. It’s out in New Town, so the commute can be a bit long for some of the staff, but the building is modern. We have a lot of space for our desks and all the technical equipment we need for engineering work. It’s not the kind of place where things are quiet; there is usually a lot of discussion about blueprints or project timelines. We deal with the heavy stuff, the kind of engineering that goes into big plants. It’s complicated work and sometimes we stay late to get a design just right. There isn't any fluff here. We just focus on the technical details and making sure the math works out. The office has a view of the surrounding area, which is growing fast with new buildings popping up all the time. We have a small pantry where people grab snacks and chat. It’s a professional environment but it’s not stiff. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. We just happen to know a lot about steel plants. Being in Action Area-2 means there’s a lot of dust from construction nearby, but that’s just part of being in a developing part of the city. We’ve been working from this office for a while now and it suits our needs for the daily engineering tasks we handle. We just keep our heads down and work.
