Steel Craft Of India

Our workshop is located at 84, P.Majumdar Road in the Haltu area of Kolkata. It is a bit of a residential and commercial mix around here. We have been doing steel craft at this same spot for quite a few years. It is a small operation, mostly focused on making things like gates, railings, and small steel frames. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It is just a gate and a sign that has seen better days. Inside, it is full of welding machines and piles of steel rods. We do most of the work ourselves. It is a hands-on kind of life. We don't have a computer in the shop, just a notebook where we write down what people want. Sometimes the rain in Kolkata makes the ground outside a bit muddy, but we keep working through it. We aren't trying to be a national company despite the name. We just serve the local people who live around Haltu and nearby areas. If someone needs a small repair or a new grill for their window, they come to us. We try to do a decent job for a fair price. We don't use any corporate talk or big words. We just talk to you like a neighbor. If you walk down P.Majumdar Road, you will probably hear the sound of us grinding metal before you see the shop.
