Down here in Garia, specifically at P-54 Green View, things are a bit different than the big central offices. We’re tucked away in Flat D3, handling things for Steel Authority Of India Ltd from this side of Kolkata. It gets pretty humid in West Bengal, especially during the monsoon, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. The area is mostly residential so it’s a bit quieter than the city center, which helps when you have a lot of numbers to crunch. We aren't doing anything flashy here. It’s mostly just making sure the documents are in order and the communication stays open. Sometimes the power goes out, or the traffic on the way to the post office is a nightmare, but that’s just Kolkata life for you. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. It’s a small team, just a few of us making sure everything runs like it should. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you'll probably find us at our desks with a cup of tea. It’s just honest work. We don't put on airs. We know the steel industry is huge, but here in Garia, we just focus on our little piece of the puzzle and try to get home before the evening rush starts. It’s just how we get things done every single day.
