If you walk up to the second floor here at 97 Park Street, you’ll find our office. It’s usually pretty busy with people coming in and out, checking on orders for different steel products. We spend most of the day on the phone or looking at spreadsheets to make sure things are moving where they need to go. Park Street is a loud area, but inside the office, we just focus on getting the work done. We deal with a lot of different metal types and sizes, and sometimes it gets a bit confusing with all the paperwork stacked on the desks. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular workspace where we handle the logistics and sales. Sometimes the lift is slow, so we take the stairs instead. Most of us have been here for a while now, so we know the daily routine pretty well. We don’t have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just us working through the daily tasks. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs a specific type of steel for a project, we look through what’s available and figure out the shipping details. There is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just keep our heads down and try to stay organized with the inventory lists and the supplier calls that come in every morning. It's a lot of work but we stay on top of it.
