We’ve been here at 28A/4 Rai Bahadur Road for quite some time now. Kolkata is a busy city, and New Alipore has its own pace. Most of us take the local transport or walk through the narrow lanes to get to this building every morning. It's not a flashy place, just a regular office where we deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls related to the steel business. Sometimes the humidity is a lot to deal with, but you get used to it. People stop by asking for directions or wanting to talk about supply schedules. We don't have fancy brochures or a big reception desk. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and the hum of the ceiling fans. We manage the logistics from here, making sure things move where they need to go. Lunch breaks are usually spent chatting about local news or what's happening in the neighborhood. The building itself is an older one, typical for this part of West Bengal. It’s got that lived-in feel. We keep things simple because that’s what works for us. There isn't much to say other than we show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It's a steady job in a corner of the city that stays pretty active. You’ll find us easily enough if you look for the sign near the post office. We are just part of the local scenery now, really.
