Our office for Srmb Srijan Ltd. is at 14/3, Panchanantala Road. That’s in the 700029 area of Kolkata. It’s a busy street, and we’re right in the middle of it. The building itself is just a standard place where we set up our equipment and desks. We don't have any big signs or fancy lights. Most of the time, we’re just heads down, working through whatever needs doing. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the stuff we need to store, but we make it work. The sounds of the traffic on Panchanantala Road are pretty constant. You get used to the honking after a while. We aren’t interested in looking like a big corporate firm. We just want to do our jobs. People stop by now and then, and we chat while we work. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. Nothing is overly polished here. The floors might be a bit scuffed and the paint could probably use a touch-up, but that doesn't stop us. We’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. It’s where we deal with the daily realities of the business. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a list of things to do. It’s simple and it’s how we like to operate. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make tea, and that’s about the extent of our luxuries. It is a real place with a lot of history and a lot of work still left to do every single day. We keep the doors open and the fans running, and we just get on with it.
