Sree Parvati Stores

Sree Parvati Stores is located on S K Dev Road in Kolkata. It is a traditional kind of shop where we know the habits of almost everyone who lives on this street. We have been here for a good number of years, and the building itself is quite old. Inside, the walls are lined with wooden racks that hold everything from soap bars to packets of spices. The ceiling is high, and we have an old light that flickers sometimes, but it does the job. Kolkata life moves at its own pace on S K Dev Road, and we are right in the middle of it. When the weather gets really hot, we sit near the front to catch whatever breeze comes through the door. We sell the daily essentials that families need for their homes. Most of our customers do not even have to tell us what they want because we already know their regular order. We handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the jars to counting the stock at the end of the night. It is not a high-tech business, and we still use a simple paper pad to keep track of things if someone needs to pay us later in the month. It is a very personal way of doing things, and we like it that way. We are just a small, local store trying to stay useful.
