Momin And Brothers

Our little spot is over at 22-B Rabindra Sarani, right in the heart of Tiretta Bazar. If you know the area, you know it's a bit of a maze. We are in Room 69, which you find by going through Gate 9. It’s not a big place, just enough for us brothers to handle what we do. The bazaar gets so crowded in the mornings. You have the smells of the market and the sound of people shouting everywhere. We’ve been here for a long time now. The walls are a bit faded and the floor has seen better days, but it works for us. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, it's just one of us sitting there with the ledger or moving boxes around. People stop by to chat or ask for directions because Gate 9 is sometimes hard to find if you’re new. We drink a lot of tea from the stall downstairs. It's how we keep going. The work isn't fancy. We just get things in and send them out. Sometimes the lights flicker when the rain is heavy, but we just keep at it. It’s a busy life here in Kolkata, and we are just a small part of it, tucked away in our little room. We like it that way. No one bothers us much and we know our neighbors well. It’s just simple work for honest people.
