Our office is in the Chitrakoot Building, room 79, right on AJC Bose Road. It’s an old building, but it has a lot of character and it's right in the middle of everything. We handle a variety of products here. Most days start with checking the morning mail and seeing what needs to go out. The space is a bit tight with all the files and samples lying around, but we manage to find what we need. It's not the kind of place where everything is perfectly filed away in color-coded folders. We have some long-term staff who have been with Marco Polo for years, and they know the history of every item we carry. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which keeps us moving. The noise from AJC Bose Road is always there in the background, a constant hum of cars and buses. We don't put on a show for anyone. If you come by, you’ll see us at our desks, probably on the phone or writing out orders. We just try to get the work done and make sure the products get to where they're supposed to be. It’s a simple operation, really. We’ve known most of our customers for years, and we mostly rely on people knowing who we are and what we do. It’s just how we've always operated and it seems to suit our small team here.
