You can find us at No. 24 GT Road. Being on such a big road means there’s never a dull moment at Shree Tulsi Commercial Co Ltd. There are trucks and buses going past the front door at all hours. I usually arrive before the heavy traffic starts just so I can have a bit of peace while I drink my tea. The building is older, and you can see the history in the cracks in the floor and the way the door creaks when you push it open. We have a lot of space inside, though a lot of it is taken up by heavy filing cabinets and old desks. I don’t like to throw things away if they still work, so we have a mix of old and new furniture scattered around. My colleague sits across from me, and we spend most of our time going through orders or talking to people on the phone. It’s a commercial area, so everyone is always in a bit of a hurry. We don't really have a showroom or anything to look at, just a practical workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just sit by the window and watch the world go by on GT Road until it comes back on. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we know. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t really think about moving anywhere else.
