Our office and shop are over in Bowbazar, specifically in the Shilpa Bhawan building. We have shops number 1, 2, and 3 there. It’s near Poddar Court and the Teritta Bazar area, which is always moving and very loud with people and carts everywhere. We are located on Black Burn Lane, which is one of those narrow streets where you really have to watch your step. We deal with a lot of different supplies here. It’s mostly commercial stuff that other businesses or contractors need. The building itself is an old one, like most things in this part of town, so it has that specific old Calcutta feel to it. We have been working out of these rooms for a long time. It can get pretty cramped with all the boxes and paperwork, but we know where everything is. People come to us when they need specific parts or materials for their projects. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people knowing we are here in the lane. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit messy to get to the shop, but our regulars don't seem to mind. We just sit here, handle the orders, and talk to the people who stop by. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, and it works for us. The tea guy comes around a few times a day, and that’s usually when we take a small break and watch the lane.
