We operate out of Gupta Appartment at No. 46-48 on M. S. Mukherjee Road. This is in the Khardah area. We have been doing packing and moving for people for quite some time now. Our office is on the lower floor of the apartment block. It is a practical space. We have rolls of bubble wrap and stacks of cardboard boxes everywhere. It smells like tape and paper in here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at people’s houses. Moving is hard work and it gets sweaty. We have a small crew and we all pitch in. M. S. Mukherjee Road is where we park the trucks when we are loading up. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the space we take up but we try to be quick. We have a small desk where we write out the bills and the schedules. It is a simple setup. We don't need much. Just the trucks and the packing supplies. Khardah is our home base and we know these streets very well. We see a lot of families moving in and out. It is interesting to see all the different houses. We just focus on getting the boxes packed right so nothing breaks. It is a lot of heavy lifting. We are usually tired by the end of the day. But we come back and do it again tomorrow. It’s honest work.
