Skipper Steels Ltd

Our office for Skipper Steels Ltd is located at 165 R.N. Tagore Road in the Thakurpukur area of Kolkata. It is named after Siddhartha Sankar Ray, and we are right near the police station, which makes it easy for people to find the general vicinity. This part of West Bengal has a bit of a suburban feel compared to the center of the city. The office itself is a practical space where we handle all our daily administrative tasks. We have a lot of ledgers and documents stacked up because there is always something to track in the steel industry. The commute out here to Thakurpukur can be a bit of a headache with the traffic on the main roads, but we are used to it by now. It is a simple building without any modern glass facades or fancy features. We have a small staff and we all sit together in a room that gets quite warm in the afternoon. We don't use much big corporate talk here; we just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. There is a local tea stall nearby where we go for breaks, and that is usually where we hear the local news. It is a regular, hardworking environment where we just try to do our jobs without any unnecessary fuss or complicated rules.
