Skipper Steels Limited

Our office for Skipper Steels Limited is inside Asit Apartment, which is at 65/2 in Green Park Block A. Being in Kolkata means there is always a lot of noise from the street, but once you get up to the office, it settles down a bit. We are in a residential-style building, so it feels more like a home than a big glass tower. The elevator is sometimes a bit slow, so a few of us just take the stairs if we aren't carrying heavy boxes. Green Park is a decent area and it makes it easy for us to get to other parts of the city when we need to. Inside, it is mostly just desks covered in papers and phones that don't stop ringing. We handle a lot of steel business from here, mostly talking to suppliers and keeping track of orders. It is a plain space with no fancy decorations or corporate art on the walls. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and eat our lunch while talking about the football scores or the weather. It is the kind of place where everyone knows each other’s names and we don't bother with formal meetings if we can just talk across the room. If you are looking for us, just find the main gate of the apartment block and the security guard can usually point you toward our door.
