Simplex Castings Limited

We’ve been working out of the 4th floor of the White House building on Park Street for a good while now. It’s a busy part of town, and you can always hear the traffic from down below if the windows are open even a crack. Most days start with a lot of paperwork and people coming in to talk about different casting jobs. We spend a lot of time looking over drawings and figuring out how to get the metal poured just right for whatever the client needs. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office where we handle the business side of the foundry. The building itself has that old feel to it, and sometimes the lift takes its own time, so we end up taking the stairs instead. We deal with a lot of different industrial parts, mostly things that go into bigger machines. It’s a lot of back and forth with the workshops to make sure things are moving along. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is usually when we take a short break from the phones. There isn't much to say other than we keep busy with the orders that come through. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons during the summer, but we just get through the day. People know where to find us if they need something made out of iron or steel, and we just try to get the job done without making a big fuss about it.
