Out here in Kestopur, at 182 Rabindra Pally, you’ll find us at Sigma Steel & Engineers (P) Ltd. It’s a residential area mostly, so having a business here feels a bit different than being in a big industrial park. We have our setup tucked away in the lanes. It can be a bit of a squeeze when trucks come through for deliveries, but we make it work. Most of us have been working here for years. The building is just a standard place, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s all about the engineering side of things. There’s often the sound of metal or something being moved around. It’s a dusty job sometimes. We drink a lot of water and keep the windows open when the weather allows. People in Rabindra Pally know us as the steel folks. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the orders right and keep our clients happy enough to come back. The office part is just a few desks and chairs where we handle the billing and phone calls. Sometimes the street gets flooded after a heavy rain, and we have to move things to higher ground, but that’s just part of life in Kestopur. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, doing the work, day in and day out. Sometimes the tea man comes by at four, which is the highlight of the afternoon for the whole crew.
