Our office is situated over on Motilal Mullick Lane at 32 / 13. It is in the 700 035 area of Kolkata. Chandan Kumar Banerjee is here most of the time managing things. It’s not a giant skyscraper or anything, just a normal building where we handle our business. We work in the metals technology sector, which means we deal with a lot of technical stuff every day. The street outside can get pretty noisy with the local traffic and people walking by. We have a few rooms filled with desks, computers, and a lot of paper. It’s not the most modern place you will ever see but it works for us. Most of the staff here have been around for a long time. We know the industry and how things go. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with fancy meetings and suits. Usually, we are just in regular shirts trying to stay cool while we look at project plans. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions because the lane can be confusing. We don’t mind. We have a small tea station in the corner where we take breaks. The work involves a lot of coordination with different sites. It’s basically just us trying to keep the projects moving without too much fuss. We’ve been at this address for a while and most people in the neighborhood know the Siemens Vai Metals Technologies name by now. It is a steady life and we like the routine of it all.
