Our work happens at B 5/14 E.C.T.P. Phase IV, inside the Abhyudoy Cooperative Housing Society. It’s located in the 700 107 area of Kolkata. Being in a housing society makes for a different kind of work environment than a standard commercial block. It’s a bit more relaxed, and we know the security guards and the folks living nearby. We handle metals technologies from this spot. It’s mostly office work, planning out projects and making sure the technical side of the metal industry is covered. We don't have a big gleaming office or a bunch of receptionists. It’s just us and our equipment. We keep the place tidy but it’s definitely a working office, not a showroom. Most days are spent on the phone or working through spreadsheets. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just engineering and tech support. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and have settled into the local rhythm. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which helps when we need to concentrate on complex drawings. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the loudest. We just want to do a decent job and keep things moving for the people who rely on us. It’s a simple, honest approach to business that works for everyone involved here in West Bengal.
