We are over here at Shyam Towers, specifically at En 32 in Sector-V, Salt Lake. It’s a busy part of town and honestly, the traffic can be a real headache some mornings when we’re trying to get to the office on time. Shyam Steel Industries Limited has been operating from this spot for a while now. The building is pretty easy to spot if you are familiar with the Salt Lake area. We spend most of our days dealing with steel orders and talking to people on the phone. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it keeps us busy. The desks are usually a bit messy with blueprints and invoices. Sometimes the tea guy from downstairs comes up and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t have fancy furniture or anything like that, just what we need to get the job done. It gets quite loud in Sector-V with all the construction and people moving around, but you get used to it after a few months. Most of us have been working together for years, so we know how each other likes their coffee or how they handle a grumpy client. If you find yourself near En 32, you might see us coming and going from the tower. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the steel gets where it needs to go. It is a straightforward business and we like it that way.
