We've been at this spot in Kolkata for a while now. Shyam Steel Industries Limited, Kolkata is tucked away in the Rose Block at Aster Green. If you know the Rajarhat Road area, we're right near the New Town Metro Plaza, which makes it easy to find us once you get your bearings. It's the third floor, suite 3E. The office is usually busy with people coming and going. Dealing with steel isn't exactly a glamorous job, but it's what we do every day. We handle a lot of paperwork and phone calls here. Most of the time, the air conditioner is humming and someone is making tea in the back. The traffic outside Atghora can get pretty loud during rush hour, but you get used to it after a few months. We aren't trying to be some fancy corporate office with glass walls everywhere. It’s just a practical space where the work gets done. Most of the staff has been around for years, so we know how things run. We focus on getting the steel out to where it needs to go. Sometimes the lift in the building takes forever, and the stairs are a bit of a climb, but we make it work. It’s just us, working on Rajarhat Road, trying to keep up with everything. There’s always a pile of registers on the desks. We don’t have any big speeches to give about what we do. We just show up, handle the steel orders, and head home.
