Shilpi Singh

Shilpi Singh is located at Flat No E, on the 2nd Floor of Block 10 in the Ps Ixora complex. This is over in New Town, Kolkata 700156. If you are looking for us, we are quite near the Surekha Sunrise Green apartments. It is a residential area, so it stays fairly quiet compared to the main roads. The flat is where all the work happens. It is not a big commercial office, just a regular space inside a housing block. We have set up one of the rooms specifically for our sessions. There are some chairs and a table where we sit down with the books. Since it is on the second floor, you have to come up the stairs or use the lift. The windows let in a good amount of light during the day. It feels more like a home than a school or an office. We have our own routine here and people usually come by at scheduled times. It is easy to find if you know the Ps Ixora blocks. We do not have any big banners hanging outside the window. Most people who come here live in the nearby buildings or just a short walk away. It is a very simple and private setup. We just go about our day, helping whoever comes through the door with their requirements. Living and working in New Town means things are generally a bit more modern, but inside Block 10, it is just a simple life.
