Uro Travel

Uro Travel is over in Salt Lake, specifically in the AA Block at number 170. Salt Lake is a bit different from the rest of the city with its planned blocks and more trees, so it’s a nice enough place to come to every morning. Our office is a simple room with a couple of computers and some chairs for people to sit in while they talk to us about where they want to go for their holidays. We have some old travel magazines on a side table and a few pictures of places we’ve helped people visit. Most of the day is spent looking at maps on the screen and trying to figure out the best way to get from one city to another without it costing too much. It’s a lot of waiting for pages to load and talking on the phone to hotels or other agents. During the summer, the office gets quite bright because of the big windows, but we usually keep the blinds halfway down to see the monitors better. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees; it’s just a few of us who know a bit about travel and like helping our neighbors in Salt Lake plan their trips. It’s a relaxed atmosphere and we don’t rush people. We just sit down, have a glass of water, and talk through the options until we find something that works for everyone involved.
