Al Quraish Trading

Our place is right at No. 16 College Street, right inside the fish market. If you’ve ever been down here, you know it gets pretty busy early in the morning. There is a lot of noise and people moving crates around. We do our trading from this spot and have been here for a good amount of time. It’s not the cleanest or quietest place to work, but it is where the action is. Most of the day is spent talking to suppliers and making sure things get where they need to go. We deal with a lot of different people every day. Some days are slower than others, but usually, there is something that needs sorting out. We don’t have fancy office chairs or air conditioning that works all the time. It is a practical space for a trading business. You get used to the smell of the market after about ten minutes. We just focus on the numbers and the stock we have on hand. It’s a lot of manual work sometimes, checking lists and making sure the counts are right. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s a straightforward business in a very busy part of town. If you come by, you’ll probably see us busy with paperwork or on the phone. That is just how life is at Al Quraish Trading. We keep things moving and try to stay out of the way of the heavy lifting going on outside our door. It's just a regular trading life in a crowded fish market area.
