We have been running Bhutan Bookings from our office on Bondel Road for quite a few years now. It is a busy street with plenty of noise, but we have gotten used to the sound of the traffic outside our window. The office itself is nothing special to look at. We have some old wooden desks, a few chairs that have seen better days, and maps pinned up on the walls. It is just me and two other staff members here most days. We spend our time answering the phone and writing down details for people who want to travel. We do not use any fancy computer systems or have a big corporate setup. It is all very basic and straightforward. Sometimes the printer acts up and we have to spend an hour fixing it, which can be frustrating, but that is just part of the day. We get our tea from the small stall just down the road, and that is usually our morning break. Most of our clients find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us. We do not spend money on big advertisements or flashy signs. We just sit here on Bondel Road and do the work that needs doing. It is a steady pace, and we like it that way. We are not trying to be the biggest agency out there, just a local place where you can talk to a real person.
