Global Tourism Corporation is located right here in Netaji Nagar. It’s a quiet enough area for the most part, which helps when we're trying to figure out travel routes and booking details. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at computer screens. Netaji Nagar has changed quite a bit over the years, but we’ve stayed put. Our office has a lot of old brochures and maps pinned up on the walls. It isn't a huge operation, just a few of us sitting around desks trying to make sure people get where they need to go without too much trouble. We get folks stopping by just to ask directions or chat about where they want to go next. Sometimes it's chaotic with three phones ringing at once, and other times it’s so still you can hear the birds outside. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some chairs for people to sit while we look things up. Most days involve a lot of typing and checking schedules over and over. It's steady work, and we know the neighborhood well. People around Netaji Nagar recognize us by now. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to keep the office running and help out whoever walks through the door. It’s a decent way to spend the day, really. We just take things one booking at a time and try to keep everything organized in our little corner of the city.
