Our place is located at number 9, Prasanta Roy Road. This is in the Kol-8 area, which has its own rhythm. We’ve been here as Samsung India Pvt Ltd for some time now. It’s a typical Kolkata street, sometimes narrow and always full of life. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it serves us well. Inside, we keep things pretty basic. There are desks, some files stacked up, and the usual office equipment. We handle various tasks related to the company’s operations in this region. The weather gets really humid, so the fan is always running. We know the neighbors, and the local rickshaw pullers usually know where to drop people off if they’re looking for us. It’s a humble setup. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’re mostly just busy with the actual work. Lunchtime usually involves something from the local eatery around the corner. We see a lot of the same faces every day. Dealing with electronics and customer-related bits keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, but we just chip away at it until it's done. It feels good to be part of the local community here while working for a name like Samsung. It's just a regular job in a regular neighborhood, and we like it that way. We've even got a few potted plants by the window to brighten things up.
