If you are looking for 4A Pran Nath Chowdhury Lane, you have to go past Sinthee More. It’s a narrow lane, like many others in this part of Kolkata, but it’s got a bit of history to it. I’ve been operating from here as Sakya Chatterjee for quite some time now. Being near Sinthee More is handy because everyone knows the landmark, even if the lane itself is a bit tucked away. It’s a quiet area mostly, apart from the occasional rickshaw bell or someone calling out. My place is just a regular house setup where I meet people. It’s not a business center or anything like that. People come by to talk or get help with their work, and we just sit in the front room. There’s a lot of old trees around here, so it stays a bit cooler even when the sun is out in the summer. I like the 700002 area because it feels like the old part of the city where everyone knows their neighbors. You don’t get that as much in the newer blocks. I don't really like having a lot of assistants or a big front desk. It’s just me. People call up, we find a time, and they come over. It’s very straightforward and low-key. Most of the folks who visit are from the local neighborhood or just a short bus ride away. I've lived here a long time and the neighbors are used to seeing people coming in and out.
