Rd Steel Emporium

We’ve been at 56/17, J.N. Mukherjee Road for a while now. Most days it’s just us dealing with various types of steel and metal supplies. People come in looking for specific rods or sheets for their construction projects or small repairs around the house. It gets quite busy here with the trucks coming and going. The shop isn't fancy, just a lot of heavy stuff stacked up. We try to keep things organized but with steel, it’s always a bit of a mess. Someone is usually around to help you find what you need in the piles. We handle the cutting and loading ourselves. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but it’s what we do. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers around J.N. Mukherjee Road pretty well. If you’re looking for Rd Steel Emporium, we’re the ones with the big gate and the sound of metal clanging all day. It’s a straightforward business. No flashy signs or anything like that, just the materials and us working through the orders. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the area over the years but the shop stays pretty much the same. It’s dusty and loud but we like the routine of it. We just focus on getting the right pieces to the people who stop by. We aren't doing anything special, just selling steel like always.
