Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd.

Our office is tucked away in the Kolkata region, right on AJC Bose Road. If you know that area, you know how the traffic can get around the Bso-Rinl spot. It’s a busy stretch of road and we spend a lot of time looking out at the cars while we handle the daily paperwork. Being part of a big name like Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. sounds like it would be all shiny and corporate, but here on the ground, it’s mostly just desks, old files, and a lot of phone calls about steel shipments. We deal with a lot of people coming in and out, checking on orders or asking about prices for different grades of metal. The air conditioner hums in the corner and sometimes it makes a weird rattling noise that we’ve just gotten used to. We have our tea breaks at the same time every day, usually talking about the local news or how long the commute took. It’s steady work. We don't do anything flashy here. We just make sure the records are right and the logistics for the region stay on track. It gets a bit hectic when the month ends and everyone is rushing to finish their tasks. The building isn't brand new, but it’s where we do our bit. It's just a regular workplace where we try to get things done without too much fuss.
