I set things up here at Block F A in Sector 3, Salt Lake City. It is right in the Purbachal part of Kolkata, 700097. If you know where Tank No 13 is, you will find me pretty quickly. I have lived and worked in this area for quite some time, so I know the streets around here like the back of my hand. The space is not very big, just a room where I handle my daily work. I do not have a big staff or a receptionist; it is just me doing what needs to be done. Most days start early with a cup of tea, and then I get to the tasks on my desk. There are always papers piling up, and my phone rings more than I would like, but that is part of the job. Salt Lake is a quiet place generally, especially this part of Sector 3, which I like. Sometimes the neighbors walk by and say hello. I do not have any big signs or bright lights outside. It is just a house where work happens. People usually call before coming over so I can make sure I am actually at my desk. It feels very local and simple, which suits me fine. I just try to keep things moving along and stay organized as much as possible throughout the week. I also make sure to check my mail every afternoon.
