Raju Iron & Steel Traders

Raju Iron & Steel Traders sits right on Bakrahat Road at number 15/14 in the Green Park area. It’s a heavy-duty kind of place, as you can probably guess from the name. We have stacks of iron and steel all over the yard, and it’s usually quite a messy sight, but we know where everything is. The road outside is always busy with traffic, and we spend a lot of time watching trucks pull in and out. It’s hard work, moving all that metal around, and it definitely keeps us in shape. We don’t have a polished front office or anything like that. Instead, we have a small desk where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s a very straightforward business. If someone needs steel for a project, they come by, we see what we have in stock, and we figure out the price. There isn't much more to it than that. The Green Park neighborhood is a decent place to be based, even with all the noise from the street. We’ve had some of the same guys working here for years, and we’ve all got the same calluses on our hands. It’s not glamorous, but it’s real work that helps build things around the city. We don’t really care about being the biggest, we just want to make sure we have what people are looking for when they stop by Bakrahat Road.
