Raipur Steel Corporation

Raipur Steel Corporation is located at 23-A, Netaji Subhas Road. We are up on the third floor in Suite No. 27. The building is one of those classic ones with high ceilings and an elevator that sometimes has a mind of its own. It’s right in the middle of all the action, so you can always hear the horns and the people shouting from the street below. Inside our office, things are a bit more quiet, though the phones ring pretty often with people asking about steel prices or delivery dates. We’ve got stacks of files everywhere because we still like having things on paper. Our desks are old wood, and there’s usually a thin layer of city dust on the windowsills by the end of the week. We don’t have a big sign or a fancy lobby; you just come up the stairs and find us at the end of the hall. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to know what needs to be done. We just handle the steel orders, check the invoices, and make sure the logistics are moving along. It’s a very routine kind of business. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the news or whatever is happening on the street. It’s just a regular office doing regular work in a very busy part of the city.
