Rahul Export

We are over in Sovabazar at 322/C, Chittaranjan Avenue. This part of Kolkata has so much history, and our office at Rahul Export is tucked away in one of those older buildings with high ceilings. It’s a busy neighborhood with lots of markets and people moving about. Our day usually starts with checking emails and looking at the latest shipping schedules. We deal with exports, so there is always a lot of paperwork to handle and phone calls to make to different ports. The office is a bit cluttered with samples of the goods we send overseas. It’s not a corporate setup at all; we have old wooden desks and chairs that have seen better days. We don't use any fancy scripts when we talk to our clients. We just speak plainly about what is available and what the costs are. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phones act up, but we always manage to get the details sorted out. Most of our clients have been with us for a decade or more, so they know how we work. We don't try to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We just focus on making sure the boxes get packed right and the documents are correct. It’s a steady job and we enjoy being part of this local community.
