Puspa Agrovet Private Limited

If you head over to Latu Babu Lane in Kolkata, you will find us on the 3rd floor of the House of Ratna Reja. Flat 3A is where we run Puspa Agrovet Private Limited. It’s a busy neighborhood, very typical of this part of the city. You hear the honking and the people downstairs all day long. We deal with agrovet stuff, which means we are always thinking about livestock and farming supplies. Even though we are up in a flat in the city, our hearts are really out in the rural areas where the products actually go. We spend a lot of time checking orders and talking to suppliers. The stairs up to the third floor can be a bit of a climb in the Kolkata heat, but we are used to it by now. The office is full of samples and stacks of paper. It isn't very organized to a stranger's eye, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who have been together for years. We aren't interested in looking like a big corporation. We just want to make sure the supplies get to the farmers when they need them. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is coming in. It’s just how the work goes. We've stayed in this building because it feels like home to the business now. It gets noisy but we don't mind much.
