Progressive Steel Corporation

You can find Progressive Steel Corporation on the 7th floor at 23A, Netaji Subhas Road. It is an older building in a very crowded part of the city, so the elevator can be a bit slow on busy mornings. Our office is not very large, but it is where we handle all our steel trading and paperwork. It is usually quite noisy here because of the traffic downstairs and the phones ringing constantly. We have stacks of files and ledgers on almost every flat surface. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking on shipments. Netaji Subhas Road is a prime spot for business, though finding a parking space is almost impossible. We have a small crew of people who have been working together for a long time. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. We like the energy of this neighborhood, even if it is a bit chaotic at times. Our days are spent mostly on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. We don’t try to act like a big corporation. We are just a local steel business trying to get through the daily pile of work.
