Pratick Art Salon

You can find us at 32/2, Baghajatin Road, which is the spot where Pratick Art Salon has been operating for many years now. We are located in the 700036 area of Kolkata. It is a nice enough street to be on, and we have always had good, friendly neighbors all around our shop. The place itself is quite small, but we have learned how to make the most of the space we have over the years. We call it an art salon, but the truth is we are just regular folks who know how to handle a pair of scissors and a comb. We do not go in for all those modern hair trends that seem to change every week and never really last. We just do the classic styles that the people in this particular neighborhood seem to prefer. Our customers are mostly people who live within a short walking distance of the shop. They come in every few weeks for their usual trim, and we spend the time catching up on what has been happening in their lives and with their families. It often feels more like a local meeting place than a strict business. We have a few old chairs and a radio that is usually playing some music or the local news in the background. The lighting in the shop is not perfect, but it is plenty for us to see what we are doing every day.
