Poushali Electronics

Poushali Electronics is located right on 24/1 Canal North Road in Santoshpur. It’s been here in Kolkata for a good number of years. Most of the time, the shop is full of wires and old circuit boards. People bring in their televisions or their radios when they stop working properly. It isn't a shiny mall shop. It’s more of a workspace where things actually get fixed. Sometimes the floor is a bit dusty from all the work, but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with electronics all day long. West Bengal weather can be tough on machines, so we stay busy. We handle all sorts of small repairs. If a remote stops working or a screen goes dark, neighbors usually drop it off on their way home. We don’t have a big team of people. It’s just us working behind the counter. The traffic on Canal North Road is always moving, but we’re used to the noise by now. We try to get things back to people as fast as we can, though sometimes parts take a while to arrive. We don't make a big fuss about things. It’s a straightforward shop for the local community. We know the people in Santoshpur well. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in with their own gadgets. It’s just a normal part of the neighborhood. Nothing fancy, just hard work. It gets the job done and keeps us going.
