Our office for Philips Electronics India Ltd is tucked away on Kailash Banerjee Lane, specifically at numbers 19 and 20. It is a bit of a narrow lane, so finding parking can be a real headache if you arrive at the wrong time of day. We have been in this spot for a while now and the building has that old, lived-in feel to it. The walls are a pale yellow that has faded over the years, and there’s always a bit of a breeze coming through the back windows. It’s not a large space, but we make it work for everything we need to do. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background while we sort through the daily logs and handle the equipment that comes in. Most of the people working here live nearby, so it feels like a neighborhood spot. We don't have any of those modern glass partitions or high-tech security gates; it’s just a heavy wooden door and a desk near the front. If you walk past, you might see us moving boxes or just having a quick lunch at our desks. It’s a simple setup where we focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the street gets flooded when it rains heavy, which makes getting to the L. No side a bit tricky. We just keep things moving and don't worry too much about the aesthetics. It is a solid, quiet place to work and we just do our bit every day.
