Phaskowa Tea Plantations Ltd.

Over at No. 1- 1a Vansittart Row, right across from the Telephone Bhawan, is where we run Phaskowa Tea Plantations Ltd. It’s an old part of town with a lot of history, and we feel like we fit right in. Our work is all about tea, which is something almost everyone around here has a strong opinion on. We don’t actually grow the tea right here in the office, of course, but this is where all the planning and the business side happens. We spend a lot of time talking to the plantations and making sure the tea is up to standard. The office usually smells a bit like tea samples, which isn't a bad way to spend the day. Being opposite Telephone Bhawan makes us easy to find, even if Vansittart Row itself is a bit narrow. We’re not a flashy outfit. We just have our desks, our phones, and a lot of paperwork to get through to keep the tea moving from the fields to the cups. It’s steady work, and we’ve been doing it for quite some time. We aren’t trying to be the biggest name out there; we just want to make sure the tea we handle is good and that our partners are treated fairly. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it seems to work for us. Most days it’s just us drinking a bit of tea and making sure the crates are on the move. We like the pace of things here.
