Pepperoo Agro Private Limited is right in the middle of the chaos at Maniktala Bazar on APC Road. Our address is 123/2/H/76, and if you’ve ever been to this part of Kolkata, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t used to the narrow lanes and the way the buildings are numbered, but we’ve made our home here. We deal with agro products, and being near the market actually makes a lot of sense for us even if it’s a bit cramped. The office is just a regular room where we keep our files and take our phone calls. You can hear the market sellers shouting and the traffic moving on APC Road all day long. It’s a very urban way to run an agro business, I suppose. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a big staff. It’s just a few of us making sure everything is handled correctly. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the heat and the noise, but that’s just part of being in North Kolkata. We spend our time coordinating with suppliers and making sure our records are up to date. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of setup. We just want to get through our list of tasks and make sure the business stays on track in this busy city. It can be tiring but we enjoy the energy of the market.
