Balaji Express Courier & Cargo is located up on the second floor of 201 B on Mahatma Gandhi Road. It’s a busy area as anyone who lives around M G Road knows. We spend most of our days dealing with various types of cargo and courier bags. Being on the second floor means we do a fair bit of carrying things up and down, but it keeps us active. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep track of where everything is going. We started this because there was a need for a place people could actually use in this part of the city. People bring us all sorts of items to ship out. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking on arrivals and departures. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping things organized. The traffic on M G Road can be a real headache sometimes when we are trying to get stuff loaded, but that’s just life in this part of town. We’ve seen a lot of changes on this street over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s not a flashy job. We just focus on the paperwork and making sure the labels are right. If you come by, you’ll likely see us surrounded by stacks of boxes. We just keep at it day after day, hoping the lift works or just taking the stairs when we have to.
