Our office is located in the Ghola Bazar area, specifically at Nagar South P. O. in Kolkata. It’s a classic Kolkata neighborhood with a lot of character and plenty of noise. We’ve been here at Panasonic India Ltd for quite some time now. The building is older and has its own little quirks, like a door that squeaks if you don't pull it just right and some peeling paint in the hallway. We handle a lot of the regional stuff from this location. It’s not a high-tech showroom. Instead, it’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of paper stacked up. We spend our days talking to dealers and making sure the inventory is moving where it needs to go. During the monsoon, the street outside can get a bit flooded, so we all keep umbrellas by the door and watch the water level. We aren't a big, fancy team with suits. Most of us just wear comfortable shirts and focus on getting the job done. We know the local shops nearby where we grab snacks in the afternoon when we need a break. It feels like a small community inside the office. We don't have any grand statements to make about what we do. We just show up, handle the logistics, and make sure the phones are answered. It’s a steady kind of work that keeps us connected to the city and the people who live here. We like the pace and the fact that we know what to expect.
