Nahata Industries

Nahata Industries operates out of 19 Prafulla Sarkar Street. It’s a solid old building. The street outside is usually busy with people and cars, so there’s always something going on when you look out the window. Our space is pretty basic. We have a few big tables where we spread out our work. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few schedules and a clock that’s always five minutes fast. We don’t bother fixing it because we’re used to it now. It’s a bit of a walk from the main transport links, but it’s a good spot once you’re here. The air inside can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We don’t really have a lot of visitors, it’s mostly just us. Sometimes the mailman stops for a chat. We’ve been here at number 19 for quite a while. Most of the staff live nearby, so we’re a local bunch. We don’t spend money on fancy renovations or expensive gadgets. We prefer to just keep things running as they are. It’s a practical way of doing business. The floorboards creak a little when you walk over to the files, but that’s part of the charm of an old street like Prafulla Sarkar. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It gets the job done for the people here.
