You can find the Nabadiganta Producer Company Limited over at house number 01 in the village of Rerapal, right near Monidahakotwali. We’ve been set up in Paschim Midnapore for a while now, working with the folks around here. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have. We don't go for anything too flashy because that’s not who we are. We're just regular people from Midnapore who know about farming and want to help the community get organized. Every day is a bit different; some days we’re out in the fields talking to the growers, and other days we’re stuck inside dealing with all the documents and numbers. It can get a bit tiring, honestly, but it’s important work for the village. We try to group together what everyone is growing so we can get a better deal for everyone involved. It’s mostly about helping each other out. We’ve all lived here a long time, so we know the local land and what grows best in this soil. We don't use any corporate talk here; we just say things like they are. If a crop is doing poorly, we talk about it and try to figure out why. It’s a practical, everyday kind of business. We’re just here in Rerapal, doing what we can to keep the farming life sustainable for all the families in our area. It’s just us, working together.
