M/S Super Smelters Ltd.

Our office for Super Smelters is on the first floor of building 68 in Santigarh, over in the Regentpark area of Kolkata. It is a bit different from being right on the factory floor, but it is still plenty busy. We spend our time here handling the logistics and the administrative side of the smelting business. The building is an older one, typical for this part of Kolkata, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you’re carrying heavy files or supplies. We have a small team here that manages the accounts and talks to the customers who need their orders sorted. Sometimes the street outside gets very loud with the local markets and the rickshaws, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. It is a practical space, not decorated with anything special, just maps of our distribution routes and some old calendars on the walls. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the ledgers. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, just a place where we make sure the numbers add up and the deliveries go out to the right places. We’ve been in this Santigarh spot for a long time, and the locals know us well. It’s just a steady job in a busy neighborhood, and we try to keep things running as smoothly as we can without making any unnecessary fuss.
