Ms Steel

We are situated at 88 B, Madan Mohan Burman Street, right in the heart of Kolkata. This part of West Bengal has a lot of history, and our building definitely shows its age, but it’s sturdy. Ms Steel is a name that’s been around this neighborhood for a bit. The street is always loud with people, taxis, and rickshaws, which gives the place a lot of energy. Our office is 700007, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside with all the records we keep. We don’t really believe in all that modern office design where everything is glass and chrome. We have heavy wooden desks and old-fashioned fans that keep the air moving during those humid Kolkata afternoons. It’s a very grounded way to work. We deal with steel, so things are bound to be a bit gritty and real. There’s no point in pretending we are a high-tech startup when we are really just a bunch of folks working in an old part of the city. We know our neighbors and we know the traders on this street. Most of our day is spent talking to people and making sure the orders are moving along. It’s a busy, sometimes chaotic environment, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. You won’t find any corporate buzzwords here, just people who understand the trade and have been doing it for years. It’s just how we do things in Kolkata.
