Operating out of V.I.P. Enclave in Kolkata has its ups and downs. Being at C-101 means we are right in the middle of a busy residential and commercial mix. It’s quite different from a factory floor, even though we deal with iron and steel every single day. The office gets a lot of light in the mornings, which helps when you’re staring at spreadsheets or talking to suppliers on the phone. Traffic around the 700 059 area is always a headache, so most of us try to get in before the real rush starts. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation that forgets people's names. It's more about the day-to-day coordination. You have to make sure the trucks are on time and the orders for iron are actually filled correctly. Sometimes there’s a mistake with a delivery, and we spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That’s just how it goes. We drink a lot of tea here while we work through the logistics. It's a practical way to spend the day. Kolkata is a city that never really stops, and being in the steel business means we don’t really stop either. We have piles of files and samples lying around the desks. It isn't always tidy, but we know where everything is. If someone needs to find us, we are just tucked away in the enclave, doing what we've always done without much fuss. We just keep working through the piles of paperwork and phone calls.
