M/S Bhushan Power & Steel Limited

Our office for M/S Bhushan Power & Steel Limited is based at Basu Villa, which is located at 3/28/A in Bijoygarh. This is in the Jadavpur area of Calcutta, a place known more for its colleges and markets than for heavy industry. Basu Villa is an old house that we’ve converted into our working space. It has that classic Calcutta charm, with high ceilings and thick walls. It’s a bit hidden away in the lanes of Bijoygarh, so you have to know where you’re going to find us. We don't have a big corporate sign, just the address and the name on the gate. Inside, it’s quite simple. We have our desks set up in the different rooms of the villa. It feels much more personal than a modern office building. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood—street vendors, crows, and the occasional rickshaw passing by. We handle a lot of the administrative work for our steel and power operations from here. It’s a peaceful spot to work. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the open windows, but we like the fresh air. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just need a place to sit, think, and manage our business. Being in Jadavpur makes us feel like part of the local life, even though our business is national. It is a good place to be.
