You can find us right in the heart of Kolkata at the College Street Market. Our spot is Mt-56. If you know College Street, you know how crowded and lively it is with all the bookshops and people walking around. Being in the iron and steel business in such an old part of the city is interesting. We’ve been here for a long time. The office is small and tucked away, but it’s where all the decisions happen. We deal with iron and steel supplies, and even though the surroundings are more about books and tea, we stay busy with industrial orders. The building is quite old, and the stairs are narrow, but it’s got character. We don’t have a shiny modern office like they build now. It’s more about the ledgers and the history of the place. The people working here are locals who know the streets and the suppliers like the back of their hand. We don’t put on any airs or graces. We just sell iron and steel and manage the logistics for our customers. Sometimes the noise from the market outside is a bit much, but it’s part of the charm of working in Kolkata. We take our lunch breaks at the local cabins and then get back to work. It’s a steady business, and we like the community feel of being in College Street Market. It’s home for us, regardless of the chaos outside.
