Metaljunction Services Ltd.(Sail-Tata Steel Venture)

Metaljunction Services Ltd. is actually a joint venture between SAIL and Tata Steel, and we work out of the Tata Centre. That’s at 43-J L Nehru Road in Kolkata 71. It is a pretty well-known building in the city, so most people don't have a hard time finding where we are. Even though we are a venture between two big names, the way we run things here is pretty practical. We focus on the service side of the metal industry. The office is busy and there is always something going on with shipments or auctions. J L Nehru Road is right in the heart of Kolkata, so it’s always loud and crowded outside, but that’s just part of being in this city. We have been operating from the Tata Centre for a long time. We don't really use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We provide a way for people to buy and sell metal products and we make sure the process works like it should. Our staff is mostly local folks who have been in the steel world for years. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything. We just come in, handle the services that need doing, and go home. It’s a solid place to work and we are glad to be part of the local business scene here.
